How It Works for Agents
How do I get assigned to tenants?
Lenders in the RentLeap network assign you to tenants in your service area. You can also join a lender's network directly or work with tenants you bring to the platform.
What if the tenant picks a property outside my area?
Tenants choose properties in their desired area. You'll only be assigned to tenants looking in areas you serve. You set your service area in your profile.
What if the tenant never exercises their purchase option?
You still earn the buyer's agent commission on the investor's purchase — that transaction closes regardless. The future sale is a bonus opportunity, not a requirement.
Do I need to learn a new process?
The transaction itself is a standard real estate purchase. You represent the investor buyer just like any other buyer. RentLeap handles the tenant relationship and property management.
